Ride Every Saturday
9am from High Desert parking lot.
This
ride generally lasts 90 minutes to 2 hours. The goal of this
ride is not always to be the fastest out there, but to familarize
potentially new riders with riding public roads and learning
safe riding routes in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque.

Racing
Big
Wheel Racing truly dots all categories of bicycle racing with
competitors in mountain, road, cyclocross and triathalon events.
Not only do they compete, but if you check race results in New
Mexico you are almost sure to find Big Wheel racers towards
the top of the list. In addition to racing, Big Wheel Racing
members participate in multi-use trail advocacy and organization
of local endurance rides and races. We at High Desert are really
excited to be sponsoring Big Wheel Racing and look forward to
a great year of racing.
