and Other Services
We are all about
bicycles and want to keep them running smoothly. When you come
in for repairs, one of our technicians will check over your
bike, make suggestions for repair, and give you a free estimate
while you wait. We service all makes of bicycles and can work
by appointment if you cannot leave your bike for long (please
call ahead for scheduling).
Some of our most
common services are the Basic Tune-up and Thornproofing.
A Basic Tune-up includes adjustment of gears,
brakes and hubs. We take time to put every wheel in the truing
stand to make sure the wheels are in-line. We also check that
the headset is adjusted properly and assure tightness of bolts
in the front end. As a finishing touch, we give the bike a wipe
down to make your bike look a little nicer, too.
Thornproofing
includes a heavy duty tube that is pre-filled with sealant and
a heavy duty liner between your tire and tube. We have had excellent
success with this service protecting against goatheads and other
tube killers. Labor is included and generally done same or next
day.
