Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Please read "Returns" below for more information.

Shipping Options

Shipping options are available for most apparel and accessory items. Orders typically ship within one business day of being placed.

Due to our dealer agreements, some bikes may not be eligible for shipping.

In-Store Pickup

In-store pickup is free for all items, including bikes and oversized products. Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. 

If you need an item right away, please call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 30 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.

Information Security

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.

We sometimes use other companies (third-party service providers) to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders and delivering packages. They need access to some personal information in order to perform their duties but may not use this information for other purposes.


Bicycle return policy-You may return a bicycle purchased from High Desert Bicycles for a refund or credit within seven days of purchase, except the holiday season when we will accept bicycle returns until January 10th. High Desert Bicycles reserves the right to make a full or partial refund based on the condition of the bicycle. We will issue the refund in the same manner the bicycle was purchased. If the bike was purchased with a check we will issue a refund check within 7 business days of the original sale.

Equipment, parts and accessories return policy-Any of these items may be returned for any reason* for a full refund within 30 days of purchase with customer's original purchase receipt. Items must be in new condition with original packaging.  Special orders and items purchased on sale are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

*We will not give you a refund on any item that has been damaged in use under normal conditions, i.e: we will not make a refund on a derailleur damaged while riding, or a pair of shorts torn in a crash.

You may also ship an item back to us if it is defective or not to your satisfaction. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise. Merchandise returned that appears used will be subject to a restocking fee. 

Labor fees, such as custom wheel builds or other services, are non-refundable.


High Desert Bicycles offers a no interest layaway plan on bikes and accessories year round.  We require a 20% down with the remaining balance paid in full over the next three months.  Layaway merchandise is removed from the showroom and is no longer made available to sell to other patrons. Therefore, there is a 20% restocking fee on cancellations.  At the discretion of management, the restocking fee may be applied to store credit.

Warranty Policy

Bicycle warranty policy- High Desert Bicycles will honor all manufacturer's warranties on frames, forks and parts, which can vary from one year to the lifetime of the original purchaser, against manufacturer's defects. Used Bikes are sold as is with no warranty while Demo Bikes receive only the manufacturer’s frame warranty.  These warranties don't apply to normal wear and tear, abuse, accidents such as forgetting that bike on top of the car as you pull into the garage. On any warranty claim made in the first year of ownership High Desert Bicycles will waive all labor and/or shipping charges that are incurred.

Equipment, parts and accessories warranty policy- Warranty decisions on these items are many times a judgement call on our part but we will always give you a generous benefit of the doubt in making them. When we believe an item appears to have been abused or used improperly we will say so, but in all other circumstances you can expect us to go to bat for you with the manufacturer or vendor who supplied us with that item

Prices and Information

Our website is intended to help you. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices in our online catalog. And we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. However, inventory or pricing errors may occur, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel any orders where mistakes or discrepancies in price or stock status exist regardless of the source of the error.
